Members of Bandung Africa have a long history of fighting for justice and human rights around the world with the intention to progress the social cohesion and unity of Africa by helping to create a unified constructive approach to issues of security, human rights and the rule of law, empowering and uplifting all in society, building sustainable wealth through education, entrepreneurship and increased social mobility.

With the intention to promote the development of Pan African solutions to address regional and global challenges. All Africans working together in order to contribute toward the achievement of Agenda 2063 of the African Union.

About The Imperative Fund

The Imperative is a grant making organization that is dedicated to the wealth, health and connectedness of people of African descent around the world. We center the interest of our people in not just the projects we fund, but the outcomes they will achieve. Our goal is to disrupt the current trends that lead to inequitable outcomes. By resourcing Black leaders, convening spaces for NGO’s to come together and distributing research and materials that are instructive and liberatory, we set the framework for positive change for our people.

Our framing is healing centered. That means we support addressing root causes, prioritize the well being of our leaders and communities and use asset based practices.

We know that to address the systemic and existential challenges we all face globally, people of African descent must be healthy and whole.
